NEW ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Partners,

Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus and it is in that name where good news comes from.  I have some AWESOME news to share with you today,….as a matter of fact it is VERY EXCITING news.  Dougoud Ministries is moving up and moving forward.  We will be starting a brand new church right here in Hampton, VA.  God laid it on my heart about six months ago,  I brought it up to my wife and asked her to pray about it.  One month later she received confirmation with GREAT JOY!  We have already gotten a building to lease that seats approximately 350 people.  This building just happens to be the chapel of the school where our children currently attend.  We can only have the use of the building on Sunday mornings which is great because it gives us time to grow at a good pace.  The first service will be held Sunday, May 4th  at 9:30 AM.  Praise God!  Are you ready to be so totally stirred as we reveal the name of our church……”FUN IN THE SON CHURCH.”  (F.I.T.S.) HAHAHA!  We wanted to make sure the name was traditional!  HAHA!   I will continue to travel under Dougoud Ministries but not as much.  I will still do revivals, Youth Camps and most definitely my mission trip to INDIA in October.  I truly do not want to miss any Sunday mornings at our church.  We pray that you will continue to partner with Dougoud Ministries because Dougoud Ministries will be helping the church get started.  Pictures and updates will be included in monthly newsletters as usual.  Our Board Members are excited and gave us the go ahead to continue on with the vision.  Our current Pastor, David Highlander, is totally behind us and has been a great source of encouragement.  I have also asked my long time friend, Pastor Eppard from Staunton, Virginia to be our Pastor.  Both of these men are full of wisdom, integrity and love.  They truly have a Pastor’s heart.  They have sought after the truth of God’s Word and it is an honor to be submitted under their leadership.  As you can see, we have received confirmation from the Lord, our Board Members support, and surrounded ourselves with men of God who has walked this road we are about to run.  We wanted you all to know, that this next phase of our ministry is not taken lightly.  The will of God is being fulfilled in our life…..Souls, souls, souls…..the heartbeat of God. We choose to
to be obedient to the will of God in our life and ministry.  We will continue to serve God with JOY and teach others to do the same.  That's the good news…..”He whom the Son sets free is free indeed.”
